In our society, we are bombarded daily by images and stories of fear, lack, pain, division amongst family and friends. Under the pressure, it’s so easy to get angry, get too busy, go numb, lose hope. And to forget that there is such a thing as beauty. To forget our stories. To forget who we are. We become achingly separate; from ourselves and from each other. The thing is, we need each other in order to survive. To be healthy we need to connect, to feel the air, to breathe again. And to thrive (which is our birthright) we need beauty, the story of why we’re here… and to remember that life… is light.
Imagine if you will, some of the most thought-provoking photography you’ve ever seen. Now imagine experiencing that art in an entirely different atmosphere than you ever expected. No, not larger. Smaller. Much smaller. By transforming very small spaces into multimedia galleries, we’re creating an opportunity to simply stop, take a breath and experience beauty in a personal way. Just the two of you. As it was always intended.                                                                         … Karen Hutton
